Its ok if you desperate to find parking. If you come back for you car consider you may need about 5 minutes to pay for ticket as for past 6 months these pay machines are so bad that they will scan your ticket with 30 or even 50 try, also its only good if you have small car, anything above average you will most likely scratch it going down as going down space is 3 parking space wide and so narrow, and yes after using it for 20th time or so i have managed to finally scratch my car because of lack of space.
PROS: Easy to pay if you register through the council Parking Portal, so no need for tickets it's all done through ANPR and you're charged automatically. Plenty of spaces. Great location. Feels clean and safe - at least compared to other Leicester car parks I've used.nnCONS: Prices have gone up e.g. £5 for under 2 hours is a rip off. Bigger cars and SUVs will have to take the ramps very slowly, it's tight. Not a 24hr car park. Lifts never working. Avoid toilets as drug users/unhoused folk are sometimes loitering.
No evening owl price anymore. Paid £9 for just over 4 hours after 5pm...good location but pricey! Would recommend Rooftop car park instead.
Locked out on a Sunday at shortly after 6pm as car park closed. No way to get in, control centre says they might send someone from Birmingham ! whilst I am waiting with children outside in bad weather. Unbelievable.
My car got locked inside this car park over night. Small sign leaning on a window as you drive in making you aware of this - super easily missed. Avoid if staying in Leicester late
