Careful, there is a little hidden scam here. It's £1 per hour, but there is no fee for 2 hours. So if you are 1 hour 10mins, then you pay for 3 hours The parking structure is tight, it's not good for large vehicles. It's fine for small. It's quite hard to access as it's caught up in Leicester s central one way system of doom. Saying that, if you're there all day, it's one of the cheapest without walking 0.8 miles each way for street parking. I wouldn't bother using it on Sunday or after 6pm though, no point.
Facilities are good. Nice central location. Information about disabled parking needs to be clearer. It was only as we were leaving that we saw a sign about keeping the disabled badge visible as we entered and left and to use the intercom as we leave. This information should have been made clear before we entered the car park and at the paying stations.
So a friend and I decided to use this car park on a rare night out in Leicester. We found plenty of spaces at 7pm. We did struggle to find the exit doors, obviously the ones into the Haymarket shopping centre were closed. More signage is needed to point out the doors to Belgrave gate. The lifts were out of order so we had to seek out the stairs. Again no clear signage. When we came back to collect the car at midnight, we got to the entrance on Belgrave gate as that's the only one we could find and the QR reader said 'no signal'. It wouldn't read our code on the parking ticket!! So the door would not open. We thought we were stuck until we had a light bulb moment and decided to ascend the car entrance, up the steep ramp to get access into the car park. From there it was easy, just £2 for the night and the number plate was picked up on the exit barriers. You need to check your technology out Haymarket so people don't get stuck!!
QR code system is non existent. It will not and does not work. You have to press the help button everytime and the way its been navigated its not for nice or big cars
Parking easy but pay machines hard to use, didnt recognise my ticket both at the pay machine and at the exit bar, complete oain in the backside
One of the most amazing stations, located in the middle of town and you can access almost all places in leicester by buses through this station
Great value at only £1 per hour.. you need ti drive carefully as ghe spaces are really tight

Very easy and reasonable. ONLY One point to be considered that there is no slot for 2 hours. If you park for 1 hour and even 1 minute, you have to pay for 3 hours.
The cost of the parking is a little stingy, and don't forget to grab a receipt when you get your ticket done incase the license plate checker fails and you have to call the assistant to let you out. Which leads to queuing around the car park. But it locations is as centre as you can get it. It's better then it was in the past.
