Came in to buy new rocks thinking it was the real new rock shop but gut instinct kicked in when i tried them on and they didn’t have any branding in the insoles and were extremely light . Salesman seemed nice but wanted £300 you can buy them everywhere else for around £200 and judging the reviews it is clearly counterfeit stock and should probably be inspected. I am all for dupes however selling something pretending to be the original and charging even more is pretty sketchy . Just be vigilant when shopping round Camden high street as a lot of those shops are tourist traps.
AVOID!!! the stock is either counterfeit or very very old and dry-rotted authentic. as soon as you walk in the vibe is off. no alternative music playing, just old eastern uncle music. the shopkeeper was not dressed alternatively. the prices are marked up roughly £150 to £200 more than on the official new rock online shop. the back of the store is stocked with amazon-brand leather coats, which new rock does not sell on their official website. the shop is on a street full of other sketchy tourist-y stores that sell random vapes, souvenirs and counterfeit shoes/bags. the shopkeeper pestered me while i was browsing, trying to force me to try on shoes and jackets. he kept offering to take off a few pounds "just for me". it's important to note that authentic clothing brands NEVER haggle-- the prices are fixed. it's a shame that this place is still operating despite the obvious red flags. i was excited to go but sorely disappointed. do not go here if you want authentic goods!!! order off the website or visit shops operated by alternative people, like sai sai or black widow!
Purchased a leather jacket while over in London on Holiday, when back home in Channel Islands I tried it on and found a fault with the Zip, I called the store and they were really helpful. A replacement jacket was sourced from their supplier, tested and sent over to me. I returned faulty jacket and my postage cost was refunded. I was always kept updated about what they were doing. When something goes wrong what makes a good company stand out is how they resolve things and New Rock get my 5 stars for great service.
This is Fake , Guys … How can u not understand????? New Rock shoes are legendary, they have a fixed price, like all other brands except for intermediaries, but this is a store, not an individual seller! Do not buy there under any circumstances. А person who has the original immediately understands that it is a fake!!! Buy Fake for same price as original it’s a crime!!!!
Probably one of the best shops along the main street. I've been here before to buy my New Rock boots. It seems to be a family run business and they are always helpful. But this time we came in to look at their selection of leather jackets. Lucky enough to find a decent bike jacket made of better quality cowhide leather that fitted really well. But most of the selection in Camden is now 'soft style' and not what I call proper leather. The owner would do well to source more stock of thick cowhide bike jackets, rather than what is left on his 'end of line rack'. The selection of New Rock boots is fantastic and you can certainly rely on trying and buying the real deal here. The New Rock shop, rocks!
Very rude and condescending sellers. Tried a pair that is 140£ more than on official website. Gave all the usual compliments to push you to buy “just for you for coming at the day I’ll give for 250£”. Said I’ll look around and I’ll come back didn’t want to log box around Camden. Rushed me to take the shoes off, basically ripped them out of my hands as soon as I look one off and told me “these are expensive good shoes. New Rocks. We are only shop in Europe” I said I know I have a pair. Basically laughed in my face and said “no I don’t believe you, you don’t” then tried to give me 50£ worth of shoes saying “want cheap? These are cheap”. Genuinely they need to be reported for all kinds of reasons.
They 100000% deserve to be shut down, I'm not sure whether they are selling fakes or just really dodgy boots as I've had 2 pairs, BOTH which have spilt withing 3 months or wearing, I paid 500gbp for the pair which is very extortionate, where the website sells them for near on half that price, for anyone wanting new rocks you should never go here for them, the staff are pushy and basically guilt trip you into buying the products, and constantly invade your personal space, I am never going here again and I highly recommend that if u do, only do it to try the boots on so you can purchase them online, an addition to the bad service and bad prices, the shop is extremely unsafe and dangerous, the steps are falling apart and are a massive trip hazard, honestly the whole place is just despicable, if I could give half a star I would
FAKES do not buy from this shop. None of the New Rocks here are real. Visually they look close to the real deal with a quick inspection but I can 100% confirm they are bad ripoff items that will fall apart, don't waste your money. The shop looks legit but is most certainly not, as confirmed by other legitimate businesses. A red flag when entering the store that its not run by alternative people and none of the staff wear the merchandise. Prices are massively hiked up to more than what you will find online by legitimate retailers. The staff are extremely pushy as mentioned in other reviews and can become rude very quickly. If this shop was the real deal then the staff would not be allowed to haggle down the prices in order for you to make a purchase. Avoid this place like the plague, buy online instead! This shop needs shutting down and the fraudsters should be in jail.
Do not buy new rocks from here. They are fakes and bad quality, they will also charge you more than what you would pay for them directly from the website. The store employees clearly know nothing about new rocks and are rude and pushy. This place is clearly a scam, I can’t believe they’re still open…
I bought a pair of sandals on Sunday and by Friday they have split. Absolutely fuming
