Story

Spice London was established in 1985 and is still a family business, offering a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere in a sleek, uncluttered environment. Initially set up to sell plimsolls at Camden Lock Market, nowadays Spice London Islington and Primrose Hill are widely recognised as two of the best multi-brand shoe boutiques in the UK and both have a loyal clientele of high-profile names.

This year, Spice London was listed in the ‘Top 100 Inspiring Indies’ by Drapers Magazine. In the last decade, Spice London has picked up numerous Drapers awards. The latest is ‘Independent Footwear Retailer of the Year 2011’. In 2008, Spice won 'UK Women's Footwear Retailer of the Year’ and in the past three years, Spice London has also been a finalist for 'UK Best New Shop', 'UK Independent Footwear Retailer of the Year' and many more.

The Spice London look is original yet wearable, retro yet contemporary. Alongside the Spice London brand, Spice London also stock Chie Mihara, Megumi Ochi, Paul Smith and C.Doux, as well as Audley, Camper, Castaner, Ras and Superga. Accessories are by Coccinelle and Paul Smith and children’s shoes by Camper Kids.
