New Energy Fitness is a private members gym in the centre of Winchester. We also offer over 80 classes per week and have a range of therapists in house.

Story

New Energy Fitness is a different kind of gym. We have everything you’d expect and more. We want clients to feel that they are more than just a membership number and our top priority is making sure the experience is personalised. We do this with a large team of friendly and expert staff taking a flexible and innovative approach to health and fitness. When you join us you become part of a warm, welcoming and fun community.

We take the time to get to know you and find out what’s going to work best. Whether that might be popping into the gym on an ad-hoc basis, or tailoring a comprehensive programme, it can all be done under one roof.

From one-on-one training to a variety of therapies, to unique classes, our facilities are open and accessible to all. We aim to make sure everything links together - nothing is left as an afterthought.

Our clients often tell us how much they enjoy the relaxed and positive atmosphere at New Energy and we see people of all ages and abilities improve fitness, confidence and make amazing life changes.

I have always been terrified at the thought of going to a class on my own through fear of looking silly or being judged. At the end of last year I decided I wanted to do something just for me, something that would not only help me physically but mentally. I looked at classes offered and found one I had an interest in. Then came the scary bit...booking in!!! But from that first phone call I was instantly put at ease, Sam was so kind and understanding of my fears and patiently let me ramble on (which I tend to do when nervous). When I arrived for the first time she showed me around and introduced me to people. I went to my first class with Abby who was just as nice and nothing like the scary instructor I had built up in my head. There was no judgement at all, Just friendly passionate staff wanting to see people get the best out of themselves. Everyone I have met at New Energy have been the opposite of my fears and I actually look forward and love to going every week. I used to have regular physio for painful joint hypermobilty and have seen an improvement since starting at new energy. The strength excercise have helped and I am in less pain in my everyday life. I cannot thank the team there enough for the care and support, they are amazing 🙂

I've been a member at this amazing gym for over two years. Since joining, everything in my life has changed. I'm now able to blast a class and have met so many new friends that I socialise with out of lycra. New Energy is my second home. Such a mix of amusing characters - all ages, all walks of life. That's what makes it so special!

I joined the gym to get in shape for my wedding. But what I got was an experience beyond what I was expecting. Everyone that works at New Energy Fitness is fully invested in both your physical and mental wellbeing. My mindset as well as my body changed with the help of my personal trainer and taking awesome Body Sculpt classes. Thanks NEF!

When you join this gym, it is like you are joining a very loving, caring, smiley, happy family, who all actually do care for you, for your goals, and always trying to help you get to where you want to get to fitness wise. It is a beautiful building, it does not feel like a corporate establishment who only care for memberships. And, classes are the best part, if you really want to get fit, meet some of the nicest people, staff or members, this is the gym.

If I could give 6 stars I would! I joined this gym in September and haven't looked back. I felt Winchester was lacking a great gym and then New Energy Fitness came alone. I actually love going there as the atmosphere is so awesome. The facilities are top notch and the classes are fun but kick your butt in shape (plus they are always coming up with creative ways to keep things fresh -- for example, recently adding a ski fit class). What truly stands out is the amazing, amazing staff who truly push you pass your potential and support you along the way. They know you by your first name and you feel like you are part of a fitness family. Thanks guys!
