The New Bath Hotel and Spa has just completed a year long renovation and is now Derbyshire's premier four star boutique hotel. With 54 luxuriously appointed bedrooms all offering stunning views of Derbyshire, together with exceptional standards of guest comfort and the latest conveniences including USB wall and bedside chargers together with complimentary high speed internet, the New Bath hotel is the perfect choice from which to explore the outstanding beauty of the Peak District. My best friend and I used the spa facilities here today. We had a treatment and the staff were lovely. We felt really relaxed and rejuvenated. The outdoor area was clean and tidy although smaller than we had expected so we would say it was only suitable for couples/small groups. Despite this we could not fault the service and will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were the most friendly and helpful we’ve had at any hotel. The room was comfortable and well presented. The food is excellent. And the spa is relaxing with the best treatments I’ve experienced. We will definitely return.

Stayed 2 years ago and returned last week for a 2 night stay to celebrate a family members 90th birthday. Couldn't have been happier. The rooms were elegant and very comfortable as before and the service & location outstanding. The meals we had were memorable - apparently the head chef worked in a Michelin star restaurant and it shows. We had a 6 course taster menu which was so good we are already planning a return soon.

Last time we were here they were refurbishing the spa so we couldn't use it. This time we did and spent hours relaxing there, and had excellent massages too. 
They are still restoring this Grade 2 hotel, including the outdoor swimming pool which is spring water fed - I managed to have a dip and it was unusual & lovely swimming in water that didn't sting ones eyes and in fact was drinkable . I was told that the changing rooms and a few other things would be restored by my next stay. Also I am hoping to swim next time in their indoor spring water Roman pool which they kindly showed me. It looked better than the Roman baths in Bath and the thought that we could swim in it next time is something to look forward to.

Just like last time, our abiding memory is the so relaxed atmosphere in this lovely establishment, such a break from city life/stresses. Cant wait to go back there!

Amazing stay last night very clean comfortable rooms. All the staff were very attentive which completed our experience. 
Breakfast was an amazing change, freshly prepared food not the usual bacon and sausage left under heat lamps.
A much underrated hotel you will not be disappointed

Modern and spacious rooms. Excellent, friendly hotel staff who checked us in smoothly and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. Great spa with excellent masseuse- highly recommend a visit. We will be back. From the Saloojee family, London
