Review: Terrible Experience with Local and Network Cars** I recently had a horrendous experience with Local and Network Cars. I requested a large van because I had a significant amount of luggage. They assured me that the vehicle would arrive in 30 minutes. However, when the driver finally arrived, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He looked at my luggage with clear disapproval and then called the center. Without any explanation, he abruptly closed the doors and drove off. To make matters worse, he was muttering in his original language, which sounded like he was saying bad words. The behavior of the staff at Local and Network Cars is completely unacceptable. Their lack of professionalism and respect left me stranded and extremely frustrated. I would not recommend their service to anyone.
We booked and confirmed for 5 people, 5 suitcases and 5 cabin bags and they sent a car that wasn’t big enough. Their solution was to charge an additional £100 for a second car. We cancelled and used a different company. DO NOT USE!!
The total fare was miscommunicated to me very badly and even after I asked for confirmation of the fare, I still ended up having to pay a lot more than expected. I wouldn’t have minded paying if it was the one that was quoted to me but because of the miscommunication, I felt blindsided when expected to pay more. I was also blamed for the miscommunication, being told that I was to blame so I found the customer service to be very shocking. I will not be using this service again, very unhappy and the communication needs to be a lot clearer so I would not recommend using their services at all.

This was my first time using this service, had a 9am hospital appointment for my dad at Moorfields Eye hospital, appointment ran over out of our control, the driver was patient considering he waited over an hour over the alloted time. Terrible service. When they answer the phone they don’t listen to what address you’re asking for. They ended up arriving half an hour late as they had assumed my address and didn’t listen to the address I had told them. I had booked transport to the airport and their disappointing service had made us very tense.ServicesService not listed
Taxi driver was polite, but the guy in the office phone is very rude. He told me the journey cost £11 and the driver charged me £13. Called him back he said it was his mistake then just hang up on me.ServicesService not listed
AVOID!!!! I booked a return journey to Stansted Airport. The woman who took us told us the fare was £40 and the return would be £45 and that we had to give her £20 deposit to secure the return journey. We handed over £60. We were collected by a different driver, who was an absolute menace on the road and in my opinion should have to retake his test. When we reached our destination he told us the fare was £65 which included £10 waiting charge I told him that was wrong, we were quoted £45 and had already paid the £20 deposit. He phoned the office and the operator was no help at all and said the woman driver had only taken £15 deposit! When I suggested he confirm with her how much she took and what she quoted, he told me she wasn't there and to get our current driver to call her! Absolutely disgusting. I urge anyone not to use this company unless you want very bad customer service and shocking driving. They do not even deserve a 1 in the ratings but there was no zero.
Hire with caution. On the 28th July I booked a cab to come and pick me and three other passengers with suitcases from Gatwick Airport. I paid a £20.00 deposit, I informed the cab office of the amount of luggage we would have, the time of our landing terminal and flight number etc. After 2am Saturday morning I am at the airport I have have received a text saying the cab is on its way. Some time later we decide to call the cab station and to our disbelief we were told that there is no cab on its way! The person on the phone continued to say the driver didn't want to go all the way without a deposit. We argued that we had paid the deposit and had a receipt as proof. The person on the phone said we could get our deposit back. By now it was past 3am. I had a 6 year old and a 14 year old. We were exhausted. We managed to find a cab and it took us two hours to get back. We went to the cab station and tried to get the money back the person I spoke to was rude dismissive and continued to swear at me. He told that he has no access to money. And I will have to come back in the morning. Which is absolutely absurd I mean this is a business right? I lost my temper and shouted at the rude idiot in the office. It got to a point where I phoned the police. Unfortunately I could not pay the driver the full amount. The police informed me that I will have arrange with the driver to pay him back later. Fact is Network Cars on Ordnance Road is unreliable, unprofessional I will never use them again and anyone I come across who decide to use them I will fill them in on my experience with them. On the phone to the manager he said that he had spoken to the guy in office and he should have sent out a car regardless of a deposit. This basically tells me the drivers of this cab company have no care, are lazy and basically do what they want to do. Maybe the manager should look about re training his drivers? Maybe even re training the idiot in the office? I did not pick up the deposit. But the person I sent did not get an apology. If I could I would not give them any stars.
If there is a zero star, I'll give it. My trip was booked for £65 and the driver came and charged £70. He was very horrible and nasty.
