Booked a taxi a day in advance for a Sunday evening. Taxi didn't arrive so called and was advised it was 10-15 mins late. 20 mins after the booking we had a table booked for dinner so running late at this point, called again to be advised the next available car would be sent to us. Cancelled at this point and drove ourselves! Staff on the phones were helpful and apologetic. Seemed as though they had to deal with these issues regularly.
15 mins late and still waiting, taxi pre booked, what sort of service do you call this? Next call today, no service at the office, call facility not answering, absolute waste of space of a taxi firm. Dame as they were when they started in Wallsend!
Do not use at all costs scamming go and use another company
This company is an absolute disgrace. Bought up Consett taxi firms and then treat locals as second class citizens. Taxi booked in advance for 11 pm didn't turn up until midnight. Freezing outside and numerous phone enquiries either hung up or told cab not allocated. We don't want or need these cowboys in county Durham. Let's get them shut down !!!
Will never book them again. 10 minutes late picking us up to go out and then after going outside the pub on a cold, wet night, 3 times to see if they had come to collect us in the space of 20 minutes, I phone to be told the driver sat 10 minutes and left and they were now fully booked.....end of. They've done it before but it was my husband who booked them. Thank you Atlas taxis for agreeing to take us home when they picked up our friends
Staff lovely especially pauline always there to help if possible.pauline is also a driver now and she works most nights on the car now unless she is in the office.
Rarely any availability, frequently accept pre bookings then cancel on the day. On occasions I've used the service has been good but too often the service just isn't available.
Discusting service, booked a taxi did not turn up, asked why said non available now. Do not rely on this company. Use somebody else.
