Very close to the main shopping area. A bit pricey for what you get. Also, the ticket pay point is at the barrier which can be very confusing for drivers using the the car park for the first time. A sign board with info or direction would have been helpful.
Grossly misleading advertising with banners out the front stating £2.95 for 4 hours until 31 Jan to make you park here. Then when you leave it becomes apparent that to get this price you had to download, register and scan an app to enter to get that price and you're now stuck paying nearly £10. Capitalism at its worst.
A more cost effective option for Cruise parking in Southampton - average price around £10 per day. Try to park on the lower levels / lower exit so that it’s easier to get back to the car with your luggage on your return journey taxi from the port usually drops you off behind John Lewis
If I could give this zero stars then I would! Parked in there today at 9:30ish and when I got back there at 6ish I was absolutely gobsmacked when I saw that I paid for parking at almost £11 for the day when it states on their website that it is £5 for all day! Not only is that absolutely disgraceful to charge people that much but it is also misleading to put a price down when it isn’t true! I was probably better off parking in the West Quay which is much cheaper! No wonder the place was almost empty with only about 4 cars in there! This is the first and last time that I will get ripped off!
You drive in up 8 floors ,you park a big sign says £2 to park. Come back an hour later and I have to pay just under £5. and there is no one around to complain to . Typical NCP also watch out for cameras in NCP parks as they have take photos and if you can't find a space you get £100 fine just for going in . WATCH OUT
It is secure and under cover Reason for a 3 is it extremely expensive to park especially after 6pm where other aces in Southampton are free to park . This car park still charges after 6pm
DO NOT PARK HERE At least one of the exit pay machines does not work at all, the other is damaged. Both of the emergency numbers are dead ends. The prices are also outrageous. Go to the West Quay car parks, Quays swimming and diving or take the bus. Seriously, not worth it. Total rip off and ended up trapped there for some time.
Avoid this car park unless you have a tiny car. You cannot an average size car through the exits, I almost got stuck because they are too narrow and had to sacrifice an alloy wheel. So parking for 15 mins not only cost me £2.90 it also cost me a new wheel!
This is our go-to car park in Southampton. Close to the shops,railway station, Titanic museum and Mayflower theatre. It's free after 6pm and cheap during the day.
£10.10 for a two hours parking! Absolutely looting! Rip off! There are a lot of parking available in 100m radius for £1/hour. Never again any NCP parking. Filthy and disgusting building, smell of urine. The lift wasn't working. They hanged an advertisement on the wall saying '£2 for two hours' and the small print is unreadable when you drive. Its misleading.
