Charlie is personally should not work for a reputable bank like Nationwide, as he is bringing down the name. I received crude and snappy judgements from him about my issue, which does not match the values of the company. It was at his discretion that my issue went unresolved, due to a discriminatory bias a white man has had. Wellingborough Nationwide should be ashamed to have such a representative.
Been with Nationwide for over 10 years and am about to change. You walk into the bank only to been rudely asked why you are there which some of us do not want to discuss in front of others as it is private. I note on these reviews the constant reference to rude staff and the fact that Nationwide are not addressing that means they want rude staff. I do not want a rude bank who have no understanding of customer service or privacy.
I have been with Nationwide building society for over 10 years. I popped in to change my address and sorted out my card as it's been fraud. From the start a young man called me and the way he asked wave, come here looks not good and not professional. I explained to him the reason I come for. He than changed my address and spoke to the head office about my card. He said my card now is restricted and I Should received one in next 3 to 5 working days, jobs done. After 6 working my card not arrived yet and I know it won't take that long to get it, so I called the head office and explain the situation. When the customer service looked in to case he said there there is no card in order if you like I can place one for you. I was really unhappy and apccet cause I will have to wait other week for my card to arrived and I do really need it to pay my first bills and set up a direct debit as I just moved home. I went to wellingbourou branch to complain as I'm not happy about the service offecly the simple answer is : really sorry but there is nothing to do. sounds like a joke for me .than he offers me a 20£ refund. I said I didn't come asking for 20£. Just be nice if your customer service know what they doing. The hussel I had about my bank card just put me off. I think after 10 years it's time to look for another bank with better customer service. Last thing I want to say, don't run and employ a teen age for less money. You not a bar or takeaway food restaurant. You a bank I pay my money into you. Get a mature responsible person and pay them the Wright wage. You get what you paid for. Regards -1 customer Rachid
Really well run branch, and a pleasant atmosphere since the revamp. On the few occasions I've needed to go into the branch I've always found the branch staff to be very professional and pleasant to deal with, even when it's been very busy.
I went into the branch at wellingborough to transfer some money and was greeted by Elaine who was very efficient and happy ...I also wanted to put the app on my mobile Elaine was patient and put the app on my mobile and explained how to use it ....a really lovely lady a credit to nationwide nothing was too much trouble....I use Kettering branch a lot and the staff there are all excellent too .Thank you nationwide....Ruth woodcock
Modern branch. ATM's to deposit cash/cheques inside and out. 1x Internet banking terminal. Free Wifi. Staff friendly. Counter service usually busy.
Nationwide Building society in Market Street Wellingborough used to be the location of Boots the Chemist but when the Swansgate shopping centre was built in 1977 Boots relocated to their present site within the Swansgate Centre, Wellingborough.
It's very useful that you can deposit cash and cheques using the ATMs outside, when the Branch is closed.
This use to be a nice bank but now the staff are nasty and rude,I am a disabled person who needed help with my electric bill and i was laughed at an teased .
Great Branch For Doing All Your Banking Needs And Staff Are Very Welcoming & polite.
