Just HOW incompetent can one company be? Nationwide crash repair centre at Redruth have now had my Ford Focus for 9 days, it was due to be returned yesterday, according to the message I received from them on Monday. So, having waited in all day, the car did not materialise as I was assured it would, following the said call on Monday. They have now informed me within the last hour, that the car was not returned, as they had now found that the subframe is bent, which is subsequently affecting the steering. Now given the fact that the original problem was caused by the front nearside tyre having been ripped to shreds after hitting some debris, presumably left by a tipper truck being over loaded with building sight rubble, I think anybody with the slightest knowledge of the mechanics of a car, may have just had the common sense to check the steering out whilst they were repairing the wheel and tyre.....

What got off to a bad start, got better with the receptionist keeping me fully informed of the progress of my vehicle. They also swapped over the loan car when it became clear to them, that the initial vehicle simply did not accomodate my requirements
