Brilliant service after bursting my tyre on a rock the day prior to New Year's Eve. Fitted a new tyre at short notice on New Year's Eve despite being short staffed and extremely busy. I would definitely recommend Kwik Fit Redruth.
Poor Communication & Customer service, lied to by the Technician about my vehicle. Booked in for MOT on a Tuesday, hadn't heard anything by Friday so I called, they didn't know anything about the vehicle, and eventually figured it was actually MOT'd on the Thursday & they don't know why, or why I wasn't contacted. The vehicle failed which I expected it too but the garage didn't have a technician available for potentially a few weeks. Due to the nature of the work required, and the advice on gov.uk being confusing, I asked about the legality of driving to another garage with a pre-booked appointment for the work to be carried out, to which they informed them was perfectly fine, and if the garage could repair in 14 days I could return to Kwik fit for a partial retest. They probably couldn't carry out the work in the next 14 days... Around 10 minutes after this call I got a call from them informing me that my MOT booked for the next day Saturday couldn't go ahead at 12.30pm as there was one booked for 12.15pm, I informed them I didn't have one booked and had literally just spoken to someone who I can only assume was right to them as the office is so small... They were confused and said it was a system error. Upon collecting the car I was informed the car could not legally driven on the road due to a dangerous defect, I was lied to by the Technician on the phone and already had arranged another garage to do the work. The two people on reception didn't care about the situation. Had I been informed of the defect it may have been possible to have just this part of work carried out by Kwik fit within 14 days. The lack of communication and lack of care has been concerning and this has already been raised in a formal complaint along with refund. There is no need for management of the branch to reply. Regardless of the outcome of my complaint the 1* review will remain as people should see the experience I had. It seems in the past 6 months a lot of one stars have been left for customer service and communication. EDIT* It is obvious that the response to the review has been posted without them actually reading the review, I have already reported my issues, this goes further to prove the lack of communication.
I must commend the staff at KwikFit in Redruth. My garage at home had made a mistake when refitting a wheel on my car. The service I received from the staff at this garage was exceptional. They were professional, considerate and thorough. I watched them deal with other customers and they were patient, kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would absolutely recommend this garage to anyone. Well done and thank you

I had ordered my tyres Friday afternoon and my poiment was Thusday 11am,and when I came to them :surprise ,my tyres wasn't ordered and nobody told me before...and now another poiment,another day lost

Took a trip into kwik fit Redruth for four wheel alignment . The guy doing the work was very competent in his job. Very happy. And the young lady was very friendly , helpful and knew all the answers to my questions. And pricing was fantastic compared to other garages. Had 4 new tyres fitted at an unbelievable price. Saved over £100 through booking it online with the discount code. So easy to use, just book a slot that suits you!! defo be going back ! 5 stars for me
