Great place in any season. Great gardens and wooded areas where the kids can run free. Full of ducks and climbing trees, take a picnic in the summer and chill. There is a wooded area which is great for the kids and really nice to stroll around. Being national trust the cafe is good but expensive. There is generally parking and on busy days there is an overflow car park only a short walk from the gardens.

Beautiful place, even this time of year. Lots to walk around, lots of beautiful lakes and plenty of ducks waddling around doing their own thing. Very helpful and friendly staff also, at the park entrance and in the tea room. Lovely food at the tea room too. Will be back to visit many times over the year for sure!

Such a beautiful place to visit. Not much in the way for kids to do but if they're happy feeding the ducks and walking it's perfect. Some of the paths are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs but these are clearly marked on the map as well as on the various trails/paths. Parking can be a nightmare especially in the height of summer. It has a lovely tea room and gift shop. Always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and pleasant.

Great park and gardens. Good oaths around the gardens and ponds that are buggy friendly. The ducks are so tame the kids love them. Tea room is ok for tea coffee and cake. There are kids things to do and just a good day outdoors.
