Been here today (May bank holiday) Got in free as we were National Trust members. We used the upstairs restaurant for toast and tea when we arrived. Visited the shop and bought a lovely handbag and cookie cutter set for my kitchen. We went for a look around the house and gardens and had a lovely time. All the staff were lovely and helpful and we will definitely be visiting again. Great day out for all ages.

Lovely national trust site with lots to do and helpful staff. House is interesting. Grounds are great with excellent play area and den building for children. Restaurant was good but very busy, with seats being an issue and service taking a while. Car parking can be difficult, especially if the overflow is closed, so make sure you check the website and arrive early if needed.

There's a huge amount to see and do at Erddig. It's a great place for all ages, but the play area is especially good - there's even a refreshments van! The house is beautiful and there a plenty to explore in the grounds too. The cafe gets busy at peak times, but the food is excellent. Well worth a visit 😊

A wealth of history in the house and in the gardens. Good walks and helpful staff. Considerable money and effort has been spent in restoration and all credit to those involved. More needs to be done if you can help.

Brilliant house and gardens with a strong story about the family. Lots of things to see and do for the children as well as the grownups. However it was extremely busy on the bank holiday and all the timed tickets for the house had gone when we arrived. As a member of the NT I am able to visit again any time but it would be disappointing to non-members.
