First eating out in London. Quality remains the same as I tried few years back. Chicken was made to perfection with right amount of spice. Side dishes such as garlic bread, mash potatoes and haloumi cheese all very good. Great atmosphere in restaurant. Cost about 50 pounds for four persons.
Had an amazing experience at Nandos Aldershot this evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful, despite being so busy the service was good and timely. We got our orders within 5 mins of ordering which is a first that too on a busy Saturday evening. Everything was prepared well and was as good as we'd expect them to be. Last month I went to Reading Nandos and the chicken was so dry - think aldershot branch is my fave one now. Highly recommended and with 4 hr free parking at morrisons too
We love eating out here as a family! We feel we had a particularly good meal tonight as the host was very thoughtful, personable and kind. His name was Robbie, and he went out of his way to be helpful to our party, especially the younger members of the group. He definitely deserves a shout out! Thank you for a great evening!
Nice food. Probably the only restaurant I would go to in Aldershot. There was a wide selection of sauces. One tip for the future would be to bring back the choice of traditional waiting rather than ordering at a kiosk or ordering on the app. Besides that I'm happy with the clean appearance of the restaurant and actually ordered more :
Frozen yoghurt and ice machine broken : Strange system where they make you wait 30 minutes despite the tables appearing to be available. Food took 30 minutes to arrive Otherwise the chicken was good
A great Nando's with really efficient service. Table was clean when we were seated, and the toilets were also found very clean when the need arose. Chicken cooked beautifully, as to the usual great Nando's standard.
Obviously nice food overall, only had a few minor issues with the visit which included; They encourage ordering via the website/QR code on the table, however the signal inside isn't great and neither is the free Wi-Fi they provide, making it a little troublesome trying to order. Trying to apply things like blue light discount through the website is convoluted and proved difficult. & not so much a huge issue rather than me being picky, but the table we sat at was both less comfortable, as well as less spacious than previous ones we've sat at. Overall, I'd go back for sure but ideally sat at a less wobbly table.
Normally an amazing time at nandos but my last visit was different. Firstly my drink was not given to me until after my food was delivered , how does this happen? I had to go up to the kitchen to get my drink. Then I had to get my chips changed because they forgot the peri salt, another trip to the kitchen. They then also forgot my garlic bread . That’s the 3rd time I had to come up to the kitchen… on top of that the food was unfortunately burnt
Food was running late but Vicky went above and beyond to keep us informed. Nando’s customer service at its best
My local Nando’s and I love it! The staff always provide a good service and remember me as a regular. The food comes out piping hot has been cold on the odd occasion but quickly rectified
