Good portion sizes. Nice cod (not reformed) and thick none greasy chips. Friendly staff when I've been in. Things are often cooked fresh so there is a little wait but it's worth it.

Unaccustomed as I am to complaining, I thought I would write a review of your chip shop from a Northern lads prospective. Firstly the price 8.10!!! for a large fish and chips I mean come on really!!!. Id expect a table and waiter service for that normally. I duly paid you my 8.10 expecting BIG things especially after waiting for 10 minutes in an empty chip shop, and your chef telling me " it's taking longer than usual due to the fact it's a big fish". At this point I was looking forward to it I was expecting a whale and chips. However I was left feeling a bit like your bird when you told her it was big DISSAPOINTED in fact what I actually got was a mediocre sized fish that was barely edible and a handful of chips. Best thing you can do I'm afraid is to get yourself to Iceland and buy frozen fish and chips and microwave them for customers and charge a fiver less. To summarise I'd bring your own fish and chips down from the north I do not recommend this chip shop to anyone especially at 8.10

Been my favourite for the whole 4 years I have been living here, always friendly service and great portion sizes, the military discount really brings the price down too, 2 cod and a large chips (largest i've found in aldershot) for less than a tenner. Absolutely gutted to be moving away, it's been great, thanks chip stop

Stunning. Great fish (cod), flakey and cooked well, with a crispy batter. Good chips. Large portion sizes. What's not to like! I recommend.

Good food, lovely chips (I particularly like the little crisp ones in the bottom of the wrapper), and generous portions. Service is always friendly and efficient and opening hours are convenient. I always go here even though I pass another chip on the way.
