Managed to hit happy hour and get buy one get one free on the wine. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Can imagine this being a really good local, if only I drank more/ had friends. Friendly bar staff, nachos were nice.
Fantastic sweetie themed cocktail menu and very friendly, banterful bar staff. Great decor and cozy corners to sit and enjoy a great drink. Loved it.
Had our engagement party here in the room upstairs. The room is lovely and a bit quirky as opposed to just hitting the local social club. The staff were really helpful with everything and you can just plug a phone/iPod in the sound system for the night. Would definately go back for an event.
Went with work colleagues for my birthday. We all had various wraps with fries. Very nice and very filling. Slow service but worth waiting for
Was here for a private party. Great atmosphere. Good choice of drinks. Canny staff. Only shame is that it's not in town but then... if it was... it'd probs get too rammed.
I've never had bad food here, the service is really great, the staff all chatty and lovely. It's quiet at lunch time but in the evenings can get quite busy. On saturday nights they have a live singer who is brilliant and it just makes the atmosphere.
Burgers and pizza were amazing. 2 for 1 on doubles or cocktails. Cosy atmosphere and is close to student accommodation. Savings for students too.
Had a really good night after a late finish from work, intended just to have the 1 as if but due to the great music and genetal banter from the staff stayed until closing... manager is a great bloke forgot his name.... sorry
Nancy's is the local to our office and on a Friday they do 2 for 1 drinks, of which they have a decent selection, no ale but plenty lagers, crafts and spirits. It's busy most of the time, but the atmosphere is great and the staff are all lovely.
