I’ve been going here on and off for years. It’s the best comfort food in Edinburgh. The Mac and cheese is perfect every time. And with great staff, with great banter you can’t ask for more. It’s a quick walk from the royal mile and has a cosy, comforting feel.

Absolutely delicious! Had a burger, steak and ale pie and a chicken burger...completely clean plates, very full tummies and very happy customers. Had originally planned to go elsewhere but glad we changed our minds. Would definitely recommend and will be back

The place is nice. The meals are not a bargain, but the quality is good. You pay what they serve. Free tap water, which I find great in order to save some money. The waiter, Nico, the niciest Scottish I met that day. He is very concerned about clients' need and he did also keep nice chatting with us.

Really nice food but a bit slow. It's probably best to order a starter so that you're not waiting. The staff are lovely and the milkshakes are fantastic.

Outstanding vegetarian sausages and cheesy-chipotle mash! I’m still stuffed hours later. Very family-friendly. Good food, good vibes, good people. Get in there.

Had my first Haggis here! The whiskey source is amazing! Love the haggis, homemade sausage, garlic mushroom mash so much! Will definitely go back again!
