Tried some new beers as no Stella or fosters. But nice to have a change. Played pool, nice friendly people.

Large pub spread over several floors with interesting nooks and snugs and a performance basement. Friendly manager and staff who clearly want to make things happen with music and other events.

Currently does not do food on a Sunday due to the pub going through a change of ownership, which was annoying. However bar service was good & prices not unreasonable.

Does some good beers and the beer garden has the sun it all day great for the sunny days and to enjoy a beer or two.

Great place, good selection of good value drinks, friendly helpful staff, Pub itself a bit tired & in need of update but landlord is addressing that bit by bit. Update: New owner means works on updating the place are underway. Cellar function room getting a lot of attention. Regular music events including already established monthly Blues Jam
