I have been using this Mr Clutch in Reading Branch for three year and i had issue with this garage before and i thought that if i continue with them they might look after well but to my shock that recently i book with them for Air Condition servicing and regas. I dropped my car before 9am in the morning and i came back home waiting for their phone call and wait until 1:30 pm. I went to pick up my car but to my shock that guy in reception told me that your car has leaked unable to regas or service. I asked him why you not call me there is problem with my car then? he called his manager he even apologize for it. I asked them what is wrong and where is the leak coming from and they told me that to check leak i will have to pay for it. It was so complicated and i took my car because i had no time and i smelt gas and i took my car back to them and guy asked me do not turn on air condition until fix. I told them There wasn't problem before i drop my car in your garage now you have done something wrong and i asked them to fix this problem. The guy asked me to contact Mr Clutch headquarter to refund my money. They refund my money.
I call the local mobile air condition technician at my home and he tested leak for just £30 and he told me that there is no leak and he asked me another £40 for regas and he regas and my air condition working perfectly fine now. Mr clutch do not have experience technician and i have no faith with them so i have decided from now i will not use this garage in my life.

Sent my car in for a new clutch and was told it would be £290.  However it was not the clutch that needed replacing, so had a phone call and told it could cost up to £910 to fix.  I wanted a second opinion so they put it back together.  When I went to pick it up they asked me to pay £156 for the 2 hours they spent on it.  I was never warned about this cost when I sent it in and informed them about this.  They lowered it to one standard hour or though this was still 78 pounds.  The average standard hour is £50 and thats if a garage fixes the car!  I wouldn't use mr clutch again.

Polite and helpful staff. Competitive prices. We have brought two (very different) vehicles here, to date, based on recommendations from others.  Reading branch, specifically, is excellent.

Rang on the Saturday Lunchtime just for and inspection. Ended up doing the job same day and within an hour, fitting it in between other jobs. They fitted in with my schedule and kept me in the loop. Definitely be using their services again.

Always had good service here, for MOTs, air-con recharging and general fixing. The lad's aren't super-chatty but if you've got a problem they'll do their best to get you booked in at a time that suits you and they'll give you good, honest feedback on what they've done.
