Caveat emptor. We had our car serviced at Car Contacts for 10 years so I think we're in a good position to provide feedback. Overall the service was good (which is why we used them for so long) however they let us down unforgivably in the end. Our car was never serviced anywhere else since we bought it. We always took their recommended service and used them for repairs when things went wrong (apart from once when their clutch repair quote was too expensive). Last year the timing chain broke and the engine was rendered beyond economical repair. The garage blamed us for not telling them that it needed to be changed even though we followed their recommended service schedule. I expect the garage to be the experts and find it completely unreasonable that they should blame the customer - especially when I had the car serviced only with them for 10 years. They were very kind to let us leave our car in their forecourt for a few days until we could get it towed away for scrap. I will certainly never use them again and could not recommend them.

Always impressed with these guys, I've been a customer for a few years now. Their prices are great and they don't over charge you just for the sake of it. Plus, the MOTs are well worth booking in.

I have just had the worst experience at Car Contacts. I took my car in for an MOT. I was told that my car is in good condition considering I'm 'coloured' and that none of 'my lot' tend to look after our cars. We (as in black people) can't drive either. When I said I was massively offended by what he had said to me, he said he didn't mean to offend me and if he wanted to he really could do. He then went on to ask me if I had been in the country long and if I had passed my test in the UK, because most of 'you people' pass in whatever country and then come over here and drive badly. I can safely say that in all of my 35 years on this earth I have never been so insulted and upset by someone. I went in for an MOT and have come home in tears. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I've bought 3 cars now from Carcontacts, done my mot's and also had my cats serviced from here and each time I've recieved exceptional post and pre service. If I have ever had any issues or queries they have always been happy to help and always go above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone to buy a car. A big shout out to the staff especially John and Nathan.

I have used car contacts for about 3 years now and never had any issues. My MOT and service is usually carried out by them. I have a BMW 520 D MSport and the main dealership was à complete rip off. I can see some people have had a bad experience but I can only speak for myself. I have not had any issues what so ever. I did my last full service and MOT which cost me £203 or there abouts. That meant a full change of all The filters including fuel filter. I sat there in The office during all The work and hopefully will be back again next year for my MOT and service. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because of parking problems. The parking can be a night mare sometimes.
