Massive store, clean and quiet.nThey have a big pizza section and you can even make your own pizza not cooked to take away and cook at home
1 star because you cannot select no stars....nnVisited the cafe on Fri 1st Sept used the screen at the entrance to order our food and 2 cappuccinos...nnWalked towards the till and spoke the young girl saying we have ordered our food and hot drinks she said ye that's fine just get the cups and make your own hot drinks that was fine until we got to the drinks dispenser. All the cups except the 2 i clean ones I found were extremely stained inside not very appealing... one coffee machine had an out of order sign the other just a blank screen. Asked the girl about this to be told oh ye sorry its instant coffee only today and free of charge. Explained I have paid for 2 cappuccinos she said oh sorry I'll refund them.nnSat down to wait for our food I couldn't get over the amount of dirty tables all strewn with plates etc. The 3 members of staff I saw didn't seem to notice these as they were all too bust talking to each other. We were in the cafe for an hour as the lady I was with doesn't eat very fast because she is 94...nnThese tables remained dirty the whole time......nnThe cafe was not busy and staff were just chatting most of the time...nAt one point one girl did say to the young lad working with her I will go and help in the kitchen if you watch the front.... he basically just stood there watching.... not once attempting to clear any tables. The floor would also have benefited from a good Sweep.nnOverall a really really bad experience of the cafe in morrisons kendal.nnNot sure who the cafe manager is but I feel they need to have a good word with their staff.
Have been a few times to the cafe here at kendal in morrisons and everyone there's an issue, usually with the coffee machines. Either there's a really bad smell of stale split milk on the cupboards underneath. I have reported this numerous times. Or that one of the machines isn't working.nToday was no exception. Both machines, not working and so instant coffee is put on... Apparently free of charge but the staff member never informed us of that fact. So after about 6 attempts to find a clean cup, without internal stains, we made the instant coffee.nFood came, all fine there except the table felt grubby.nThe fried bread was made with really thick bread so was a bit tough to eat.nThinking about it after, we were not asked what kind of eggs we would like, with the breakfast.nGenerally there's not enough staff and certainly not enough going round to clear tables of those customers who do not move their own plates.nnCompleting lacking in care and attention to detail, despite staff being friendly enough..nnCome on Morrisons, for a kendal, lakes area branch, I would expect far better!!??nSimple hygiene!

Thank You
Good Morrisons as usual. Toilets could be better though and the store seemed dark and slightly uninviting. Took advantage of an offer in the cafe. Orphelia who was serving was excellent. Food was really good. There were several great offers I the cafe.
