Watch your change, I was served by a polite young lady, but unfortunately simple maths stumped her, I had to work out my own change as the attendant put the wrong amount in the auto calculation part of the transaction. I pay a good price not to expect to add up my change when checking out.
I visited Morrisons for my week's supply of food while I'm staying in the UK on holiday.nnPrices are really good, not sure how it compares to other UK supermarkets, but it felt really cheap. I liked that you could buy wonky vegetables, and great choice between 'saver' and 'best of' ranges.nnThe 'best of' ranges are really good. I got a Christmas pudding, some biscuits, they were excellent and worth the extra money.nnBranded products like beers were also really inexpensive so much cheaper than abroad.nnAnd, staff were friendly and available. There were a number of things I couldn't find, and 3 times someone walked me round the shop to get it.nnFood shopping is often not fun, but enjoyed this trip.
Overall the store looked tidy, I did notice that Cadburys buttons were on offer at the promo shelves which was stocked however the actual location for them was out of stock, a few others was also out, I may have missed it but I couldn't see the free from section in any aisle, Mens toilets were out of order, just urinal available, there was also a notice on the disabled but couldn't see as someone was standing in front of it, also the food to go had no gluten free options which is the common situation for all supermarkets another common situation for every place I go is the lighting is very bright which for myself does cause sensory overload and means I don't take my time to find things I need or be able to ask for help, I get the items, I can see and get out as quick as possible.
Have been going to Morrisons Hadleigh Suffolk now for many years. The store has been getting worse and worse. As a general overview the toilet facilities are generally out of order, my visit on 29th November all of the toilets were out of order. On most visits one or more are out of order and generally look run down and dirty. The canteen often has a very limited menu, the self order tec often broken and reduced opening hours . This is very poor indeed and strangly not like the glossy adverts we see on the tele.Think I've now had enough to be honest.
A new member of staff was a delight to meet on the till. She had the same name as my childhood nickname. I was so pleased not to have to scan and wait for assistance at the self-service area. Thank you for making my shopping experience a very pleasant one, Pippa.
