What can I say? Free entrance. Nice collection pipes, but not much information otherwise. No CD's or books available apart from a small museum guide. No toilet in the building. Tourist Information ladies (downstairs)  did not know much about the museum or its collection (upstairs).

Great selection of local arts and crafts for sale together with local books and that rarity these days tourist information. An excellent facility.

Great place very interesting. Last time I came it a few years ago it resulted in me taking up playing the northumbrian bagpies
