Story

Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Morfa Rhuddlan has established itself as something of a local institution since opening in 2008. Our great location, close to attractions such as Dyserth Waterfalls, the Pavillion Theatre and Snowdonia Mountain Range, make us popular with tourists from the local holiday parks. And our friendly and experienced team, many of whom have been with us since we opened, make sure that everybody receives a personal welcome. Excellent food, nice friendly staff. First time we came here there was nowhere to park in their car park. The second time we went, it wasn't so busy but was still told it would be a 30-minute wait. But it was only about 15 mins. We had the mixed grill and a rump steak it was cooked to perfection rare and it was lovely . Great food! Great staff

There are choices of food from their menu but a few other countries food a bit of Italian and Indian food. Food is what I would call English pub food but tasty what I've ordered except for the salad as it's a basic lettuce, a few shredded carrots, few cucumber slices and onions I don't think there were any tomatoes in it either and the salad sauce was either a salad cream or a salad sauce similar to a hundred island dressing - too sweet. However, when I asked the staff if I can just have a vinegar an an olive oil they were happy to provide. They were weird apologetic in not having even a simple vinaigrette. An incident with losing our food order ticket which we ended up waiting for our food for over an hour also happened. However the restaurant manager came over to apologise and offered to fully refund us with free drinks or dessert or will ask the cook/chef to prepare for us a meal. They served us an amazing lasagna within 15 minutes. As we were already had a few drinks and quite full after the meal, the manager informed us that he'll leave a note for the other manager the next day to look after us, which we had a free drink and free desert as their way of saying sorry and thank you for our understanding and patience. Food and drink price are affordable too. Staff are very welcoming, nice and polite. The place is quite big but if it's tourist season, I'd recommend to book in advance as it can get very busy and full. The only thing I would like them to have more is another coffee/tea area and bread/toaster area as when it's very busy during breakfast time the queue can get very long. Their all inclusive breakfast is a must if you're staying at the premier inn next to this place.

We went an had a meal this evening, itbwasnt silly busy or super noisy. We were shown to our seats straight away, the staff were lovely and friendly, the waitresses were always around if you needed anything, our orders were taken quickly an food brought out fast and piping hot. The food was lovely definitely recommend the big stack burger, yummy. We go very often an enjoy it every time

good size portion if your hungrynfestive dinner was a bit lacking in the turkey and no ham

Lovely restaurant. Friendly staff & great food. Had evening meal 2 nights & breakfast 2 mornings both were excellent & value for money.
