If there was a minus on the service I would give it. Went in with my 87yr old mother who can't walk far. Waited a good 15 mins or so just to get a menu despite asking twice.The 'host' was on his phone and even though he said I'll be with you in a minute he just carries on talking on the phone. When we finally got to order it must have been a good 40 mins until we got our food. There was hardly anyone in there. If it wasn't for my mum we would have walked out. The lunchtime meal deal was smaller than most kids meals. As for the side salad it was a few leaves half a slice of cucumber half a small tomato and a couple of tiny bits of onion. On asking for a dessert on the deal we were told oh no you can't do that as you should have ordered at the same time and the till won't recognise it. I don't know why you have to pay upfront and were made feel you can't even complain. I'm sorry as for the guy front of house there was no customer service at all.
Incredible food. Went for my 18th back in 2024 and have been going back since. Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff too!
Great local village pub. Staff and locals made me very welcome and were extremely friendly. Only had drinks so can't comment on food but it's a Marsden pub so it's usually good. Visited again Oct 23. Still great pub. Very atmospheric. Busy but no wait at the bar. Mix grill very good but steak bit chewy. Otherwise a great evening out. Very friendly staff and locals.
Love this pub! Food with incredible, staff are brilliant and service is great! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!
Lovely friendly staff, great environment and atmosphere. Great food, great people. My go to pub in any whether. Highly recommend. Kids are welcome. Plenty of things to keep you entertained inclunding events, pool, music, bands ct. 5 stars.
