Its a lovely quiet site. There's only about a dozen touring pitches but it's a lovely place & the toilet/shower block are so clean. I would say more for the older person like myself who wants a nice peaceful relaxation. It's all grass pitches but its very well drained, never had any problems in wet weather. James is great & very helpful. So reasonably priced too. One of my favourite sites.

We needed a base for our weekend in Leeds, and we were pointed in the direction of Moor Lodge Caravan Park. We found this site to be very well priced, and convenient for our needs. Owner of the site, James was lovely, very helpful and efficient. We will definitely be using this site on future visits to Leeds. Highly recommended.

Very nice well kept site only stayed overnight was met late Friday night shown to the pitch given all info needed and cheap service buying gas next day to. Only downside was placed to far away from electric for cable so had to move bug lesson learnt to check that before legs down on caravan

Having recently stayed at the sister site Glenfield and been asked to remove or at least edit my review for moor lodge site, I have decided to edit it. I stand by my original review which is below. Apparently the site is really lovely but sadly the position we were given did not allow us to see this for ourselves. Having stayed at the sister site, Glenfield, on my first visit to the area for the purpose of spending time with my new grandchild and thinking I'd found a fabulous place for the coming years regular visits, I was disappointed at the harassment I received to remove or alter a factual experience. Sadly I will NOT return to either of these sites. The whole family were enraged by my review and we were threatened with being thrown off the sister site if I didn't remove the "offending" review. This was despite them having the full payment for my stay. They didn't seem to like the talk of refunds and I was told I could stay for my last night. Sadly there was a degree of harassment from Gemma regarding the review. There was a lot of emotional and personal talk from her and she told me my vehicle was illegal despite having been happy with it to this point. During this conversation with Gemma, James arrived and after a few minutes drove off but returned immediately and gave me £20 as a gesture of goodwill. All of this apparently because the bad attitude I received originally was from their father, who doesn't have anything to do with the business of actually running the sites, according to Gemma. The harassment continued the next day as I tried to decamp. Gemma did offer a refund for the future stay I'd booked and offered a free stay in the future but sadly the damage was done and thus far no refund given despite a phone call. What follows is the original review: Despite calling and talking to a real person and explaining what vehicle we had the reception we received was very dismissive and derogatory. We were then shown to a secluded area between a maintenance shed and the cage where calor gas canisters were kept - good job we didn't want to spend a lazy day there!
