Tried getting my package as i cant get it delivered to my student accommodation, took 1 hour 30 mins as i didn't have the barcode but i had evidence of paying for it and a invoice and that it was delivered, along with her showing me the camera i needed for my holiday in a few days. I was late for a friends birthday and spent a long time unable to find the barcode, and she even took my phone to check herself, she offered no help and looked miserable. I then decided to ring Amazon, and they said this is fine and she should let me if i have my passport, which i suggested originally and she declined, but after putting amazon the phone, she eventually let me have the parcel i PAID for.
Be careful not putting correct amount of postage charge 4.59 for small letter shocking then when challenged as I post a lot in the one in town -pretended she couldn’t fit it through I said you shouldn’t be doing that it’s wrong overcharging AVOID or ask them for the price beforehand
I work in a local store and visit nearly every day. Often I bring a lot of items which I know is a lot of work but Lindsey always helps without an issue and is a delightful person, couldn't ask for a better service.
Uncertain as to why the rating is so low; other reviews have mentioned an ownership and staff change, which may be the culprit. I haven't had any issues sending documents today; the woman who helped me out returned the friendliness and positivity I went in with. Don't let previous -- and outdated -- reviews discourage you from using this service.
What has happened to this post office? ! I hadn’t been in for a few weeks and when I did, half the post office had gone and there’s some guy sitting there in his phone/sweet /snack shop , that has taken over the other half of the space. The white lady who runs the post office herself, looks as jolly as ever. She has a nice view from where she is sat !
Best post office in Liverpool. No queue, professional, efficient and friendly staff. Five parcels sent in less than 5 minutes. Good work.
The staff at this post office deserve a medal ! They put up with the verbal abuse off the public on a daily basis! Once again I witnessed a customer last week becoming rude and aggressive with her manners towards the lady with the red hair not that she had done anything wrong but explain over and over again that the service the woman requested was not available but explained how she could help and what service was available for the customer to access the woman became upset demanding to see her manager and that she would report her. I don’t understand why when people don’t get what they want they turn into verbally abuse monsters!! I have used this post office for several years as well as my family and have always found all the staff very helpful and friendly!!!
Update Jan 2023 - this lady seems to have gone now and the new staff are LOVELY. I've got to be honest, I've held off making this review just in case the staff were having a bad day/s. However the lady with the red hair and glasses, Joan? I could be wrong with that name is a very rude and unhelpful person. I used to go to this Post Office quite regularly as a Ebay seller however each time she would have a go at me saying there's no such thing as second class tracked, so I said second class signed. The next time I went in 'no such thing as second class signed, it's second class tracked'. It was a constant cycle like this for months- all whilst getting spoken to awfully. How I heard her speaking to other customers is shocking. Surely this isn't allowed? I've avoided this post office for weeks, recently went in to send a parcel using a old Very package however I sellotaped over the word very and she point blank refused to take it. She said 'the post man will think that's for Very and take it all the way there'. So I said that's fine, he'll see the address on the there and realise the mistake and where it's meant to go. So I insisted she post it but again she point blank refused. My partner took it to another post office and they were lovely, agreed that it was ridiculous and the parcel arrived to the receiver 2 days later without issues. I'm no longer going here - it literally ruins your day and leaves you feeling awful, which is ridiculous! The Post Office opposite the Royal Hospital have absolutely lovely staff and is relatively close by if you're looking for another one to visit.
Staff has been changed and the new staffs are very friendly and polite not like before.
The old woman with black hair behind the counter. Maybe a woman of your age should spend more time getting lessons in customer service instead of putting that ridiculous red highlight in your hair. I went to hand her a pre-paid Royal Mail parcel and her face HIT THE FLOOR. She told me to MOVE aside so she could help other "paying customers" before helping me. In the end I asked her for my parcel back and told her I'd go elsewhere as her attitude was disgusting. On the way out and in front of other customers she called me a d-head.
