Always good service from the staff even when they have had to deal with difficult customers. I go in regularly and see the people they sometimes have to deal with. They are always polite and always do their best to help even when faced with disrespectful customers who get upset having to wait in line. One of the best post offices in the area.
My son who lives in London, wanted one of those, must have Christmas toys from B&M for his 2 year old. So he asked if we could get it in Liverpool, and we did, one of the last 2. My husband had to collect it, because it was so heavy. My husband suggested we went to Allerton P. O. because it had a shop to buy wrapping paper. The man behind the shop counter, suggested bubble wrap, so we bought some and sellotape. In between customers, the man kept coming to help us, because it was so awkward. He provided the paper f.o.c, to write the address. I was really grateful for his help.
Narkiest post office in Liverpool. They treat you like a div every time you go in there. Went in there once to get some Korean Won changed. The lady behind the counter obviously didn't know what it was so she looked it up in a big book ? and started giving me all this: 'You shouldn't av even taken it out the country!' Little genius was obviously reading about North Korean currency. When I pointed it out to her she just gave up engaging with me and said 'We don't av it!' And this was one of the better times I've had at this place! At least it was mildly funny!
Keep getting pressured to buy postal insurance. Last straw today! The lady was visibly upset when i said i did not want it insured. I was clearly told it wont arrive!
Always has a big line of customers waiting to be served, even when there is 3 members of staff, spend to much time chatting to customers instead of serving them as quickly as possible. Try to avoid as much as possible.
Pleasant staff and you can buy nice gifts for birthday etc
Best Post Office in South Liverpool - the staff are helpful and friendly and there is always a warm atmosphere. 5 stars!
Queue 20 deep and only 1 cashier on the tills. Very inconvenient.
