Absolutely fantastic estate agents. In fact, the BEST estate agents I've ever had dealings with. Lucinda in particular has been an absolute gem, and made the process so easy, from the viewing, to the paperwork, to the move in date and follow ups, it's been seamless, smooth and I can't fault anything. I have always found Monks friendly and professional in what they do, being new to the area, they helped me and my family find our perfect home..   We have been at our property now for 2 months and I would recommend this agency as the best in the area!!

Monks do seem to care about their appearance and they present themselves well but their service is far from the image they portray. When applying, we were regularly needing to check up on our application. Admittedly, this was due to us needing to move quickly but Monks were aware of this. They did also get our moving date wrong.

There was information about the property we were moving in to that was only revealed after we had paid all fees and signed our contracts which would have greatly affected our interest in the tenancy had it been offered in advance. We voiced our concerns about these and other issues we had to the agency and while they came to the defence of the landlord, they only acknowledged the issues we listed that could be attributed to the landlord, skipping over anything that would be the fault of the agency. When these skipped issues were raised for a second time, noting that they were ignored the first, we stopped receiving any communication from the agency.

I try not to judge Monks by the mistakes they have made but I am judging them for their inability to resolve any problems or even acknowledge the issue.
