Booked a dinner after a theatre visit on a windy and rainy, early Saturday evening. Seated upstairs which was warm and cozy. Enjoyed Seafood Chowder with huge chunks of fish and wheaten bread on the side then Confit of Duck for main. The quality was very good. Didn't gave room for dessert. Nice restaurant - open for more than a decade and still seems like a hidden treasure.
Delicious local produce! I cannot praise Molly's Yard highly enough. The food was spectacular; sourced locally, I cannot fault any of the dishes. The staff were warm and welcoming and clearly knew their menu very well. I look forward to eating here again. Molly's Yard is a must visit destination when you are visiting Belfast. Vegetarian options: There were a range of options for people with differing dietary requirements. Wheelchair accessibility: It is possible to access the downstairs section of the restaurant if you have mobility concerns. Dietary restrictions: They were able to cater to specific request from guests dining with me.
Excellent meal, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff in this small beautiful restaurant with a beautiful patio area. We had the rib eye and the lamb, and finished with a frangipani sp? It would be the first restaurant I went to if I return to Belfast I can't recommend it enough.
Molly’s Yard is a great place to try out local Irish food and local Irish beer when in Belfast. We wanted somewhere casual, laid back, and local - so that’s how we came to dine at Molly’s Yard. The food was great and I had a taste of local Belfast microbrewery Hilden Brewing Co, and I loved their Pale Blonde.
Great blend of traditional Irish pub and modern restaurant, in both the food and the decor. I had a beautifully prepared meal and a lovely glass of wine. The employees were wonderful, helpful, and accommodating. I also saw they have a very cute garden area. I’d love to come back in warmer weather and sit outside.
Sublime meal! I can’t recommend highly enough, best food we had in Belfast. Romanian wine was a nice surprise. I had the chowder to start which was like a main meal by itself, then the fish of the day, which was the best cooked Hake I’ve ever had. Crispy skin on a succulent white fish takes me to heaven…
Absolutely love the food and service at Mollys Yard. Marty is a gentleman. We had our wedding meal here and people are still talking about the food. Can't thank them enough for how accommodating and easy they made everything. Big fan!Food: 5/5
Out of the 4 countries I’ve been to this trip, Molly’s Yard had the best food we experienced! The sea bass was amazing and the chicken was the juiciest I’ve had ever! The brownie and cheesecake for dessert really set it off! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
This restaurant is so fantastic. It far exceeded our expectations. It is very reasonably priced for the quality of food, the staff were super taking great care to accommodate my food intolerances and the food is delicious. I just wish we had room to try their good looking cheese board. Would really recommend this restaurant and will be returning to it on our next visit to Belfast.
My friends and I went to Molly 's Yard last night. It is located at 1 College Green Mews, Botanic Ave, near the Circle K - Beersbridge Road Filling Station on 323 Beersbridge Rd. I ordered roast lamb shoulder meat, which is very soft and tender. The Italian dumplings are also very delicious. The side dishes are rich in flavor. The only disadvantage is that the price is expensive. The price of a main course is around 15-20 pounds. The interior decoration is very warm, the service is very good, I would recommend it if the budget is sufficient!
