I ordered 1. Chips with cheese 2. Seafood Bucketlittle pack seen on photo 3 . Fish and chips. The cod and chips wasn’t really bad and not good either. I could find a bit better with the price. Some of the chips were overcooked and hard. Sea food bucket was a small for around £6.50 but it did taste good. Chips with cheese, not impressed with this one, the chips tasted so dry. Hope this can help improve.
My one and only chip shop. They know how I like my order completed and they are always happy and smiling when I go in. Won't ever go anywhere else.Food: 5/5
Great chippy excellent food freshly cooked, although they need to do something about the the young girl behind the counter having friends and family hanging around in there and being a good established she should not be wearing nail varnish and should be consentrating on service customers and not chatting. Also putting 2 pieces of fish in a bag together is obviously going to be a problem sticking together. Not happy.
Would not recommend bought some dinner for the family this evening chips were hardly cooked at all food was full of grease the curry sauce was like water absolutely disgusting foodFood: 1/5
We had a lovely take away, but It is a shame but looks like the eat in side is permanently closed.Food: 5/5
The food and service was good but the food was expensive and portion sizes small . I spent over ten pounds on Large Cod and Chips but to be honest it was very small & disappointing. I still felt hungry after and feel it was a waste of money . I know prices are on the rise but I expected better from a local chippy . Will go elsewhere next time ..
Bought chips for lunch.they were bits and scraps flaccid and greasy.threw away in end
Customer service extremely poor. The serving lady did not process my order correctly through the till, but she did repeat my order correctly to the chef. Hence I was missing the fish. No apology. I was then treated as a new customer & had to wait for the fish. No offer of keeping my existing order warm while waiting. She even informed the chef it was my fault. Food adequate. It was much better under the previous owners. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Just went to this chippy having never tried it before but reading decent reviews. Have to say I’m massively disappointed. The regular fish I had was wafer thin and caked in grease, fingers we’re basically shining from the amount, didn’t finish it. I also had ordered a portion of chicken nuggets and was given garlic mushrooms, which I am allergic too mushrooms.
