Fish and chips were pretty good. Not quite to the standard of Harry Ramsden's Blackpool but a different type of restaurant. Staff all seemed very miserable and like they wanted to work somewhere else. Till visible to customers covered in dust. BUT... when the food came after about 5-10 mins the cod and haddock was lovely, tasty white meaty fish and the batter crisp and not greasy. I haven't yet found a better fish and chip shop in the Hampshire area.
My wife and I wanted an early dinner so stopped here about 5.15pm. We both ordered regular cod and chips with mushy peas for £7.99 each. The portions were just right and cooked to perfection. We could have had extra chips for free but we were satisfied with what we had already. Our server, Sofia, was friendly and efficient.
Very attentive staff and delicious food the only down side was that we could not use the Wi-Fi service as our phone numbers and postcodes where not recognisable in the login app
The Burgers here are delicious, really enjoyable and for a great price. The orange juice could be better quality though

Would of given it 5 stars but the staff let it down. After receiving our order. the question of would you like anything else came up? I said could I have some mayo... I was told sorry you need to pay 30p for that... I said ok,but she just walked away... after paying £40 for 3 of us to have fish and chips you would think a 30p sauce could of been included but again after £40 for fish and chips I would of paid 30p to fully enjoy it. I also had another member of staff's bottom in my face as she bent so far of the table next to us talking to the customers. Very off putting.
Decent sized portions, sometimes really good and sometimes just average, still it offers something different or if you’re in the mood for fish and chips it’s perfect for it. Liked when they did the promotion for Southampton supporters, hope they would keep it up.
Good restaurant but not the perfect one for fish and chips
Nice little chip shop. Though the chips were a little crunchy as I seemed to get the chips from the bottom of the fryer. The only down side for me is price to portion size. Selling on the name rather than quality. Would be 5 if portions were the same as other chip shops.
This place use to be excellent, but after todays experience I won’t be going back again. One the prices have gone up, second the quality of food is not up to standard, the chips were poorly made not properly cooked with oil shining thorough because under cooked. The main reason is hygiene there were flies on table 7 which in the end went into the drink. We had to leave the beer half and wasted it. No one bothers to even come and ask if things are ok. Also lack of diet drinks unless you want the unlimited ones. Instead of enjoying the meal we had to wave the two flies flying over our table. Something should be done to keep the place fly free. One more thing presentation could be better of food. Even after several months this place has not improved, in fact worse, staff on Counter unprofessional, dirty glasses, salt jars, seats. This is definitely not to the standards of Harry Ramsden. Chips are like left over bits and overly cooked, oily fish.
