My go to place for fish and chips in Whitby. Better than the Magpie and the queues aren't so bad. Good service too - it's a small place but they do their best to accommodate.

They say you get the best fish and chips in Whitby. We were not disappointed. Brilliant little place to eat. Almost all the shops were closed and we came here. The service was excellent, they even made our fish in a separate pan because of our religious requirements.

Had take out while on Holliday they was fantastic fish and chips deffo going back before we go home. 5*+

In a town full of excellent chippies Mr Chips restaurant is a stand out. It is immaculately clean. The menu is varied, not limited to the superb seafood. The staff are friendly efficient and attentive. For a sit down meal in Whitby you can barely go wrong.
