Was expecting some of the food to be soggy as it was a delivery but it was very very fresh, hot and crispy as it all came in boxes. Not greasy fish and chips, good portions for the price. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Scallop butty was also really really nice. Highly recommend.
Took a hella long time to serve up the greasiest piece of fish. Basically they put the battered fish in warm oil then turn the heat on. Food sizzles when you put it in boiling oil? I heard nothing. Feel sick and cannot get the rank taste out of my mouth. Absolutely lazy amateurs. Never again. They've RUINED the local chippy!
Do not get anything from here! Gravy was just one big lump and cold, thinnest fishcake ever. Chips was cold and tasted reheated and for the portion size definitely not worth £1.60. No wonder the scallops are 3 for £1 because you need 3.
This could be the worst fish and chips iv ever ordered.... Maybe even the worst in the land! Old reheated chips natsy dry chewy fish. Curry sauce was edible, silver linings! If you are reading reviews to decide... Don't do it!
Fish was nice , chips came and looked frozen ! Rang them back up for another meal 45 mins still waiting , would not be going back to these ever again .
Went in wensday night after work and was seved straight away I asked for fish and fishcake had to wait for about 5 minutes for the fishcake because it was freshly done.it came to £6.20 wich I thought was very reasonable price. Took it home and really enjoyed it .so if you enjoy good fish and chips please visit Mr chippy on dewsbury road leeds
Fish was dry and very greasy chips were rock hard deffinetaly wernt fresh must have been a week old and gravy and mushy peas well what can i say disgusting only gave em 1 star because they didnt have a 0 star avoid rude staff aswell
Visiting in laws and wanted to treat them, all said Worst fish and chips ever had,,,, don't know how but ordered 5 fish and one came burnt ,,went in the bin,, won't be going back same problems as last review,,wished I had looked
Lovely fish. Cannot comment on chips as didn't have them but fish spot on
if you want a traditional fish and chips or anything chippy related this is definitely the place to go absolute 10/10 no doubt about it.
