Loved this chippy, I used to be able to get 3 medium fish and chips for £10 when they were £3.09. It was actually a small fish, but fair enough and really tasty. I understand that times have changed, and now we have a cost of living crisis etc. Until earlier this year it was 3.80 and now it’s suddenly £5.20 for a medium and the portion is even worse.… Really disappointing. The younger owner is really lovely and cheerful, nothing against them but the portions are just getting sadder. You couldn’t even share a portion if you were tight on money like most in Armley are. Are potatoes that expensive that they can’t serve more chips? 5 for taste. 1 for portion size.
Excellent food very fresh, cooked to order Parking: On the road but usually can get a spot Kid-friendliness: Very tolerant of kids Wheelchair accessibility: Yep just a small step, plenty of room inside
Excellent fish and chips. I asked for light batter... but it came out regular! Still yummy tho!Food: 4/5
The best fish and chips in town, I have moved houses three times and three different locations and I still come back to get fish and chips here. The owners are friendly, the fish is fresh and tasty.Food: 5/5
Amazing Fish and Chips & Fantastic value for money. The owners are very very friendly. We've been many many times highly recommended. A big fat 5 + star rating from us.
When in Leeds 400mile round trip have to call in for the delicious fishcakes. Fresh, well prepared and cooked fish. Best for miles around. Unimposing shop on the side of Armley Moor Leeds. Family run. Well worth a visit.
Not a terrible place, the fish was okay and the price is reasonable. When it's quiet. They cook it fresh Vegetarian options: They have a standard menu Parking: Park on town street Kid-friendliness: Seems a friendly place Wheelchair accessibility: The floor is level to the pavement
Live local and this is my goto place for food when can't be bothered to cook, always fresh, good value for money. Very good sized portions. Very trans friendly.
Came at 11:30am. Chips really good but fish batter too oily, I think this usually happens when the oil used to deep fry in is not hot enough. I will try at a later time in the day next time.
first time ordering here, fish was fresh and meaty, not too much batter, chips were good, very well priced,
