Recently rented a van for removals. Van windscreen had a small chip clearly wear and tear, and unavoidable for the driver. This small chip could have been repaired easily with liquid acrylic resin but instead they insisted they replace the whole windscreen. I was charged an extra £300 for a new windscreen. No opportunity to discuss or contest this, and was told not to argue with them about it. I am requesting evidence this new windscreen has been done. I would not use Minster again and the price value they appear to offer has bitten me through added charges.

I have used this buisiness multiple times and always found them to be friendly and not only that but very understanding. They will show you around the Van and point out the most minor of scratches themselves before you rent the vehicle. When I was back  late when there was obvious traffic, they didn't charge any extra fees. And most recently I had to cancel my booking last minute due to going into hospital and they were very understanding and just emphasised that I should get better soon.  Due to their prices being lower than many competitors I was wary they would make this cost up by charging many other hidden fees, but in the times I have used them I have not at all found this to be the case. I highly rate this van hire company.

Recently hired a Kia Sportage for a period of 11 days from these guys.  First things first, they were about half the price of anyone else and, on top of that, their service is great.  Specifically want to mention the hard work that Emma was putting on when I went to pick my car up. She was on her own due to illness and staff holiday and she was still able to sort 2 pickups, 1 drop off, and answer 3 phone calls in the 10 mins that I was there. Absolute top notch service from her!  Car had 8k on the clock, pretty much new, and was spotless when I picked it up.  Not the first time I've used these guys, probably won't be that last.

Disaster!!!! Been using minster van for the last 10 years and my last experience has been disastrous ! I rented a van specifically to bring something that was 1.40m height and told that this van would be suitable. I ve picked it up and asked again that it was 1.4m height and been told yes. I driven to Leeds and found out that the van was too small! 1.27m . Drove back and wanted to rent a bigger van and asked for a commercial discount on the new rental, this blond girl at the counter has been awful saying that they won’t give me discount and I should have called before coming back! Her behaviour wasn’t acceptable and she was intimidating me … well I’m sure other companies are gonna be happy to get my customs for the next 10 years! Avoid at all cost!

Had a little Toyota for a month on a rolling adhoc lease as I wasnt sure how.long I'd need. Communication is good, service is good and the prices are great. I would definitely recommend and use again. Check out times were quick and easy and you only require a driving licence and proof of address. I paid a £200 deposit.
