We arrived at this quaint, off the beaten track pub, which we picked at random for our anniversary lunch on our way to the Forest of Dean. Upon arriving the staff were immediately attentive and friendly and took our drinks order. After a few minutes of looking through the varied menu, the waitress came over to take our order and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to order the vegetarian Wellington which sounded interesting and my partner ordered the steak. I thoroughly enjoyed mine and so did he. My partner never eats many vegetables and after trying a piece of mine stated he could have eaten a whole plate of it. The owner came to check on us towards the end of our meal and was very friendly and affable. The desert was also delicious, generous and well presented. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and have already recommended the pub to others. A big thank you to all of the staff.

Just had a meal recommend by a friend have to say very nice indeed. They even do T Bone steak and a great price. The chef cooked it perfect. Will definitely be coming back again

We had Sunday lunch 12/11/17 food was great. Staff very helpful. Land Lord and land lady so Nice, can't wait to go again..😁😀

Lovely quiet little pub with a beer garden, kiddies play area and dog friendly. Also a defibrillator outside just in case.
