White Horse Inn

This pub has very friendly staff who can't do enough to give you a warm welcome. The food is amazing and presented beautifully.. had a Sunday lunch and was enjoying it until a later booking got their timings wrong..they was very noisy and were put right by us and we had to listen to a woman who loved the sound of her own voice talking about cat poo while we were eating and burping after her meal.. Yuk!! This wasn't any fault of the pub as the booking was arranged later but in the future I would prefer to be in a quieter spot.

We visited this Inn today after a walk in the Forest of Dean. They couldn't be more accommodating considering we were potentially going to be a booking of 15 people and 18 dogs. We were seated in the huge back garden and the dogs had a whale of a time playing whilst we ate a delicious Sunday roast. I had the roast beef and it was awesome, the beef was melt in your mouth, the best gravy I've tasted and the Yorkshire were sooo good! I had the Chocolate and Praline tart for dessert and that was just as good! The staff were very polite too and very patient with us! I'll definitely be back, keep up the good work guys. :)

stopped here on the off chance as we were passing and they accommodated 12 of us immediately and the food was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us I cannot recommend this place highly enough

Super food presented extremely well. very impressed.. reasonable prices too for such a good menu.. great location very relaxed... will definitely come again..
