Very stylish but informal restaurant built into the stone vaults under the famous 'rows' of Chester. Weekday (all day) inclusive menu (2 courses at £11.95 & 3 courses for £13.95) was excellent quality with good sized portions & same quality / standard of their a la Carte menu. Efficient & friendly service with well priced wines & drinks. Great escape from a busy days shopping & would highly recommend it above the other restaurants in this street (we have been very disappointed with Carlucio's next door on 2 occasions).

My favourite place to eat in Chester. I've visited for lunch and breakfast. Both visits the service was amazing and the food delicious. I would thoroughly recommend!

Lunched here Easter Sunday- excellent service, fairly quick and loved the pork. Never disappointed for breakfast or lunch- evenings untried to date!

Really nice food and great customer service. We've gone back since! The only negative was that the toilet was very cold!

A lot of messing about as I had no reservation, but they 'found' me a table (there seemed to be some spare on the ground floor and plenty upstairs). Certainly not the cheapest place I've ever been to, but I have to say the service was good and the food was excellent. It was beautifully presented and of really good quality.
