Awful place. Completely negligent on the widespread bullying, particularly on racism and homophobia. During the post-Everard movement, sexual assualt cases were swept under the rug by teachers. As a past student, we were dismissed and discouraged from reporting harassment. The value add for teaching was also piss poor due to the 1 dozens of staff leaving each year due to mistreatment 2 nepotism in the hiring process; a senior staff member was fired, proof of the shamelessness and corruption that festers deep into the management! Clearly they were too busy raising money to open a new school in Thailand poor kids, leave them alone! to deal with their crazed students who felt free to assualt and terrorise their peers without fear of reprecussions. As long as you don't get sued right? Zero integrity. Zero safety. Zero worth.
Didn't attend but I attended a prominent grammar school who played this school at rugby - both their prep Belmont and Mill Hill. 2 stars because I had an accident there almost a decade ago , quite young and they handled it awfully, never received an apology and I keep trying to get in contact with them and they ignore me. Nice facilities so that's the 2 stars , morally dereft people otherwise.
This school’s results is not a big difference from state schools in the local area, for an example Mill Hill County which is across the road. For up to £25k yearly it is pure robbery.nnThis school offers boarding and day school. During the early 2000’s, this school had a strong Jewish/Christian caucasian majority therefore hostility to ethnic minorities was very strong due to lack of education from parents and social awareness from teachers.nnRacism, prejudice and overall lack of social inclusion was and is apparent in this school. This included peer pressuring ethnic minorities to do army marches on Remembrance Day and not following up on racist bullying of ethnic minorities in the boarding school leading to the younger boys having mental health problems years after.nnThis school is essentially for an exclusive club, kids that are not the most academic and are socially from a upper class community who have a certain view on the world.nnEnd of the day the school’s results are too similar to local North London state schools to warrant such mega fees. This is only getting more apparent with this school employing younger inexperienced teachers and raising term fees since 2009.
My son went there for 3 years. When it got to the sixth form, they literally kicked out anyone who didn't get the 2 A without even saying goodbye without taking any responsibility. My son had 5 sixes. This is not a school who will look after your children, calm they care about is money and reputation. They rather take externals with better grades for A-levels then putting an effort on their own, taking credit for someone else work.nDo not make the same mistake I did, don’t send your children there.
