all staff in the college are very welcoming and and friendly and do their very best at making sure all students feel safe and comfortable in the college environment. Despite reports about local robberies the college security are working very hard at making sure all students leave the premise in a safe manner. The teaching staff at the college are also exceptional and truly care about their students education. Their hard work isn't only in the classroom but also online making sure that we cover just as much content as we would when it class. Overall I can confidently say that Monoux is and excellent college which thrive across all subjects, and offers many opportunities for their students to shine!!
If I’m being honest, this was the worst college I have ever been to. The year that I did attend the college I had never felt so alienated by teachers and students alike, the teaching here is ok to a certain extent and I would consider it to be on par with a “traditional” sixth form in some aspects. Although I would say they do fail when it does come to supporting students.nnIf you do have issues going on in your personal life and you are not able to attend college for an extended period of time, they would just block your ID card and proceed to hold you back until 5:30pm as teachers or personal mentors are not willing to listen to you.nnOther students are unapproachable and unfriendly with a cold look on their faces whenever you’d walk past them inside the college or outside at the surrounding bus stops, you would just know that you’re not welcomed there as they also give horrible dirty looks/staresnnI would avoid the college if you are considering enrolling for the sake of your own mental well-being/health & if you don’t want to be crying in the college toilets and having breakdowns at home :
A college with beautiful architecture and green spaces to enjoy at lunchtimes. The canteen provides healthy, affordable meals. The security are friendly and welcoming. The staff and well-being team support students to achieve positive outcomes.
Completed my first year here and I have to say the teachers are amazing and really helpful, the college pushes you to the maximum of your ability.nmy grades when I joined wasn't good and they made me feel confident and helped out massively, and yesterday I got my results and I got a D* .
I had a amazing experience at the college for the past year. Especially during the lockdown the teachers were very supportive and did everything they could in their hands to support students mentally and academically. The location is fairly close by, the staff are very friendly too.
