We have been to this site about 6 times over the past few years and both myself and my wife love it. The site is well kept, well run and just a blissful place to be. The showers are always lovely and clean, as are the other amenities on site. We use our touring caravan and have been in a tent also and the pitches are hugely spacious, lovely and flat and the site is picturesque. The dog walks are plentiful in and around the site with beautiful wildlife all around. There is a food van on site which is not only extremely reasonably priced, the food is lovely. I cannot say enough nice things about this site and I enjoy every minute that I am there.
What an amazing place, after 5 nights I need to say it was worth to travel 8 hours from Scotland. Really quiet place, nice people, facilities kept clean and fishing lakes really nice. Will definitely be back there.
Just had the most amazing weekend here. The site and staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly.nThis was our first time out in a motorhome so didn't have a clue what we were doing lol, it didn't matter though because nothing was to much to ask from the staff here!nThe brunch wagon is awesome .nRun by Jan and Neil, this is the place to go for breakfast, reasonably priced and generously portioned, it sets you up for the day!nThe site itself is very clean and tidy, we'll mown grass and absolutely no litter!nThe shower block is kept very clean and tidy.nWe went fishing in Kingfisher Lake, the other was closed due to the fish spawning, it was hard going possibly getting ready to spawn? but we still managed a few Carp and a couple of Rainbow Trout.nAll in all, we couldn't find fault with here and will certainly be visiting again, very soon, highly recommended
We were staying in our camper van with large awning, the site is beautuful, very well kept, and ideally located for getting around the area, the toilets and showers were clean and arm and there is also a large disability shower and toilet room for less able guests, the chuckwagon on site is great, it is only open Fri, Sat, Sun but that works as no one wants to cook on arrival /departure day! We will definitely return and i would have no problem recomending it to anyone
This was our first time to this site, we will without a shadow of doubt be returning! It's obvious that a lot of thought and consideration has gone into the areas around the site for conservation reasons, well done to you all! The site is very clean and tidy, very quiet also.nThe staff are very friendly and pleasant! The early morning and evening fishing did not disappoint! In all the caravan parks visited by us over the years, the quality of the fish was absolutely amazing to say the least, I was lucky enough to catch some lovely Carp, every one in absolute pristine condition!nWe cannot comment on facilities as we use our own!nnAll in all a lovely relaxing three night stay.nWell done to you all for your hard work and service to assure we all have a relaxing break at your lovely site.nKind regards Clayton and Clare.
