I wanted somewhere local to celebrate my Birthday with a few friends without having to drive and this venue had recently re-opened after a re-vamp. I used to use it regular a few years ago but it deteriorated and I stopped going. However I decided to give it a try. Boy! I was not disappointed. It had a warm friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. Lasagne, Curry and Steak all done to perfection. It was the best Medium Rare Steak I have had in years. To top it there good selection of beers!
Great food amazingly well priced. Nicely decorated. Good selection of drinks, friendly efficient staff.

Lovely family run business, clean tidy, well stocked, excellent to watch sports, and food is good, would highly recommend and that's from another Landlady Mia the Plough in Thorpe Acre
Pool table, great food and drink. Large beer garden with TV and tv for sports too. Even have tv at some of the booths. Great place to go to be honest, right next to the station and bus stops. Would highly recommend visiting.

Great pub, love the tv's in each seating booth, had the Sunday lunch and was very impressed, staff friendly and very welcoming, will be visiting on a regular basis from now on
