Fantastic pub, best pint ever, great landlord, great atmosphere, proper traditional pub.
Very nice pub with great Covid-19 measures in place.
Had a fantastic new year's eve in here. Disco was very good except for one complaint requested you'll never walk alone for my mate. But DJ wouldn't play because landlord told him no because it was a liverpool song.
What a great day good company good staff .
Nice ale. Good atmosphere.
What I don't get is that if you pay by card you are charged on extra 50p. Surely this isn't legal to do these days.
Nice and cousy place to enjoy a pint with a friend..above all on Sunday night to clise the week in "Style"!;-
Great beer traditional English pub with a pleasant clientel of mainly regulars management work hard at keeping a good pub
Very friendly with a good range of beers no doubt thanks to its history along with a quality landlord. Caters for all even showing football despite regulars loving rugby . It has the disused brewery attached with many items dating back to 1877.
