Good drinks never been an issue , poor food. Had a large fish and chips, for the price paid definitely not worth it was mainly batter. Even by Wetherspoons standards this was terrible. When we asked the server to look she simply said ok and walked away. Some of the menu items are average but relative to what you pay for.
Probably one of the best Wetherspoons I’ve visited. Very clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. I’ve been a couple of times now, both for breakfast and dinner. Both occasions have been great. The only thing I dislike is that they’ve taken black pudding off the breakfast menu. I would definitely recommend
Half chicken was juicy, fish and chips fresh but chicken burger was rubbery. Service could have been better as you now have to order through the app or at the bar. Hot drinks machine was out of half the drinks so we had to make shift a hot chocolate with hot milk and cocoa powder. Reasonable prices and overall a good experience though!
Fantastic Wetherspoons, friendly staff, good beer, nice food. Lovely and interesting building and large garden see photos. It's a big building with plenty of seating indoors and as much again in the huge garden. Some outdoor tables have gazebos over them do even if it rains you'll be fine. You can also have a walk around the village, look at the church and feed the ducks although the pond is a bit hard to find. Which will help burn off those Wetherspoons calories/meals. For science lessons please visit foxteach. Enjoy your visit to "The White House" and walk around Scraptoft, we traveled a good distance to get there and it was worth it! Enjoy!
Just want to say to all staff thank you. Everyone who looked after my party were fantastic. We were a party of 16, the food was amazing came out on time. Everything was perfect. Staff were helpful and polite. Nothing was to much trouble, thank you for making my daughters 18th birthday a great one.
The White House is a great place to eat, the food was fantastic and it didn't take long to arrive. The prices are very good and the staff are very friendly. Whether you are having a meal or just a few drinks with friends, the White House is a really nice venue and is very family friendly. Plenty of parking and has wheelchair access
I was quite surprised by this Wetherspoons pub. The building itself is quite grand and on a large plot with plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and service is very quick when ordering via the app. The garden here is huge with lots of seating, perfect on a sunny day. As with all Spoons prices are very reasonable. I'd happily return.
Went for breakfast and it was lovely, the food was well cooked and Not greasy like some places. I ordered using the app which was very easy to use. I thought I would add some images of the menu so you can decide if it’s for you. Highly recommend for a decent price.
Brilliant place, friendly staff, huge range of drinks, all at cheap prices, and you get women there, something never seen in Indian run pubs, Indian run pubs are all full up of blokes
Loved this place! So cheap for 2 people! We got a full meal including drinks alcoholic for £19! Obviously it was packed so it did take a while but the food was very up to standard and tasted good! And perfect filling proportion!
