The Middleton Lodge Estate

200 acres of private countryside on the outskirts of Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Middleton Lodge is for private parties, weddings and functions.

Eat, drink, sleep at The Coach House, with nine individual bedrooms and the five-bedroom Farmhouse.

The Treatment Rooms is made for relaxation and indulgence, with skincare products from REN and VOYA.

Explore the grounds on our Woodland Walk or pick up a vintage bicycle for those bigger adventures.

And our Kitchen Garden, coming soon to the estate.

Five minutes from Richmond. Ten minutes from Tees Valley Airport. Ten minutes from Darlington Train Station. 40 minutes from Newcastle and one hour from York.

Absolutely wonderful. Our second stay in a Farmhouse Room. They literally have thought of every detail to make everything special. All very high quality. Extremely comfortable in every way. For us total luxury. Very pleasant staff, excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds to walk around. We really loved this place and very highly recommend. We will certainly be back.

Middleton Lodge is an extraordinary place full of charm and beauty. An incredible restaurant, a comfy boutique hotel and a wonderful place to get married. We got married here and Love the place. Can’t recommend enough.

An absolutely beautiful place, and an exception hotel. Our room was in the farmhouse which was a 2-5 min walk from the coachhouse (reception) but had such cozy cottage feel with such luxury tasteful decor. It had a lovely restaurant and we sat on the terrace for breakfast and watched the beautiful landscape in absolutely peace, which is incredible really as they were preparing for 2 weddings and everything still seemed so relaxed. It really isn't far from my ideal idea of a hotel!

Great wedding venue. Rooms were clean and roomy. Good breakfast selection and the waiter was very nice. Not much atmosphere for an overnight stay.

Loved my stay at Middleton lodge. I had the suite in the main house, very spacious and cosy. The food was delightful, three course meal. The staff are helpful and welcoming. I'd recommend everyone Middleton lodge. Down the path from the main house they have a cafe and a little shop.
