What to say best Chinese food in Manchester, or dare I say in the U.K? Well in my experience yes. I have tried quite a few within the China town and a few others else where. I never got the taste that I experienced while living and working in China. They have a standard Chinese menu if you want to taste the Classic Anglo-Chinese taste and a Chinese menu which has more authentic cuisines and tastes. They are well priced and portion sizes are good. Well worth a visit if you are after some authentic oriental taste.
This place serves very authentic Chinese dishes, like what people would usually eat when they eat out in Mainland China. So the food is spicy. Pricing is reasonable. Portion is reasonable. Highly recommend.
Excellent value for money. Amazing flavour. It might just be my personal opinion but I loved my sizzling beef in oyster sauce, it was so delicious. The service was really good too. We loved it.
Had hot pot. The beef was good. The pork ham was spam-like and it doesn't go well with the hot pot, or at all...it was like this with most things we ordered for the hot pot, some were good others no so much. It felt quite cold that day, also inside the restaurant.
Perfect food and friendly considerate service. My wife is chinese and really enjoyed the traditional Chinese dishes. The crispy duck was perfectly crispy. Will return but sadly we live too far away!

Very good Chinese restaurant, with delicious food and pleasant atmosphere.
The food was great. Good portions. Traditional Szechuan dishes which were a nice break from the usual sweet and sour menu. Some dishes sounded scary because the meat contents were items like heart, gizzard, tripe, tongue... Ignoring the names, the food tasted really good. Well worth breaking away from tradition and exciting the comfort level for. Prices were marginally less than the average expected for the quality of the food. So why 3 stars?? The Chinese way is to deliver food as it's ready. That said 50 mins between the first and last main meal is to long. The last dish arrived out in time for us to doggy bag it when the first dishes were cold! Not good one star off! There was also a massive language divide between us and our waiter. I always believe that if you visit a country you should learn basics of the language before going. However, I was in a restaurant in Manchester not in Szechwan! So, half way through the meal, I needed the loo. I followed the sign down stairs to a non illuminated level and tried the light switch... Nothing! I went back up stairs thinking that I may have gone to the wrong toilets. I'm redirected back downstairs and told to use the torch attached to the banister! Really! So peeing in the dark with a flash light was not good. Knowing that torch had been handled by a ton of other people while they were peeing was not a good experience either! The fact that they had torches led me to think that the lighting problem was not new and had been ignored. Not good! Temporary lighting on an extension cord would have been preferable! Not good. Another star off! Issues aside. Really good food! Definitely worth a visit.
