Best Chinese hotpot restaurant in Manchester. Had it on a chilly rainy day amd totally warmed us up! Just a top-up needed to earn 5 stars: serve pork belly slices too instead of just beef and lamb slices. That'd be great

It has a new owner, claims they have been open three days, hotpot was okay quite expensive though, £20 per person it's a buffet , only good hotpot place I've been to in UK, the place was totally empty so easy to find a seat, the staff was great. Overall its a great place, it looks great, the food is great in comparison to most Chinese food you get in UK as most of it is westernised this is actually traditional. The bad point is that they don't seem to speak much English, so westerners would have difficulty ordering.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Extremely rude especially the woman who seems like the owner of the restaurant. Ordered a take away and waited for over an hour for them to tell us that they’re busy so only just started cooking. Finally brought food home, the portions are VERY small and no pork when I ordered a pork dish... it’s a joke. So I called and explained, the woman on the phone doesn’t care at all and said there’s nothing she can do. We’ve been there a few times and thought this time we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. But nope, we will never set foot in there again. If you don’t want to ruin your evening please avoid this rude restaurant. Oh and they always say the card machine is “broken” when it’s perfectly fine right in front of us, they also offer extra discounts for Asians only. Unbelievably horrendous service.
Great food, great options and great taste limited by the staff ability to welcome people other than Asians. Plus absence of card payments was big factor to me. The price is also light on the wallet. Try the hot pots and you will be back for more. The chicken skewers each for a pound was awesome.
By far the best Chinese restaurant in the North of England. I absolutely love this place! I go there every chance I get. Sometimes I even go all the way to Manchester just to eat there. Staff don't speak much English and is not very willing to adjust the dish to your needs example: can I have this noodles with chicken instead of pork? No.. But still the best Chinese food I have ever had outside of China.
Ordered a delivery. After a hour, it still wasn't here. So I rang the shop, and gave them the order detail. They said they never received the order, but they've taken the money? So I told them, let me check the order detail because they denied. I said give me a minute please so I can open the app, but they just cut the phone immediately. I complained to the order app company, and they rang the restaurant, and gave the same order detail. Finally, the delivery guy came. The delivery guy said there was an error in our system, so the time of order was different to mines. But the receipt said order received at 11:30 am, which is the time I ordered.
Terrible Terrible service and food. If I could give it 0 stars I would. As written previously, bad food, woman on the front desk does not care and refuses to take card payments. Probably because she does not want to pay the tiny charge. The portions are very small and if your western looking you get shoved in the corner so no one can see. Im surprised this place even exists. Save your money and go elsewhere. Anywhere. Really anywhere is better.
A rip off on place, price and food! The person only stated £188 fee for the room we booked but never said it doesn't include food and drinks as it always did before. Since two months ago, they changed owners and have since charged differently but never informed us until we got the bill of ALL the food and drinks PLUS £188 for just using the room for 4 hours... Totalling to over £300 pounds! The lady at the till said it was our fault as we booked with the people downstairs but they were the ones taking the payment upstairs!! How is it our fault?? Will NEVER GO BACK and never recommend to anyone!
