It is what it is... Yes the place is getting on a bit, but it serves as a good place to take the children for a fairly inexpensive couple of hours out. They do kids parties which are adequate, food is very basic. Staff are run ragged, trying to do everything at the same time (got to feel sorry for them tbh). The bowling is (literally) hit and miss, some lanes are definitely worse than others, always a couple out of use. If you look around you can normally find some sort of voucher or coupon deal, can be expensive if paying full price...

This bowling alley has become progressively worse in the years I've used it. Initially it was cheap and enjoyable, the first few times I used it nothing went wrong at all; everything was just a little worn. More recently it's been intolerable; I've played dozens of games where the lane mechanisms broke down multiple times, and I've had to wait for staff to fix them. I am writing this review directly after going to play two games with friends. We were given one lane, and then it was changed to another, which broke down multiple times, giving us scores we didn't get, pins falling over by themselves, and not setting any pins at all. We were transferred to another lane, which did exactly the same things, and also would not return balls. We left after less than half a game. Some staff in the bowling alley are helpful, but others are rude, do not pay attention, and are not at all helpful. Also; they do not offer refunds.

Rating this 1 start only because I can't rate it any lower. Place is utterly disgusting. Holes in the ceiling tiles that are all dirty and rotten which results in the place smelling all damp and been freezing cold. Staff are rude and unhelpful. All the bowling alleys are broken or have other issues that result in having to keep calling the unhelpful staff to come and fix such has the machine not placing the pins down, computer not registering scores, pins randomly falling over and lights going off. List could go on. Was planning on having 2 games but after the first game taking an hour and half due to brake downs and been moved lanes 4 times we left. I felt sorry for the little kids party we seen when they was having same issues. Won't ever go again. Such a shame the place has been left to deteriorate so much over the years.

Such a shame. This place holds good memories from my younger days. Took the kids here and can't believe that it is the same as it was when I went nearly 20 years ago.. it needs investment. It's just been left to wear out. Its a shame as the place will end up closing the way things are going. Local people should try and use the place to get funds back I to it.

Honestly I didn't know is what to expect when I went there today, I can honestly say it was a good time the place was well looked after, the staff were polite and very helpful in the whole process extremely friendly and a good vibe. Would go again and recommend to others
